Pharmacy Partners

We do not manufacture or dispense medication. Independent, state-licensed U.S. pharmacies do — and because compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, how that pharmacy operates matters more than usual.

A licensed pharmacy makes and ships your medication, not us. We pay them out of your monthly fee.

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not check them for quality before they are dispensed.

Every batch is tested by an independent lab for potency and sterility. Ask us for the certificate — we will send it.

1Who dispenses your medication

Prescriptions written by clinicians of CoreScripts Medical Group, P.A. are transmitted to independent, state-licensed U.S. pharmacies, including CraftedRX. Those pharmacies:

  • Hold an active license in the state to which your medication is shipped, as non-resident pharmacy law requires;
  • Are registered with the FDA in the applicable category and subject to state board of pharmacy inspection;
  • Dispense only against a valid, patient-specific prescription;
  • Prepare sterile injectable products under USP <797> standards for sterile compounding, with the environmental monitoring, personnel qualification, and beyond-use dating that standard requires.

MXS Suppliments LLC d/b/a CoreScripts does not own, operate, or hold a financial interest in any dispensing pharmacy, and no pharmacy pays us for referrals or preferred placement.

2How the money works

Your $199 monthly membership is a single all-inclusive price. Out of it, CoreScripts remits the medication portion to the dispensing pharmacy and retains the balance for the clinical evaluation, platform, support, and shipping.

You will not receive a separate pharmacy bill, and there is no per-shipment surcharge. The price does not change with your dose, so no one on either side has a financial reason to prefer a higher one.

3What compounding means, and its limits

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before they are dispensed, and does not evaluate their labeling. Quality therefore depends entirely on the pharmacy’s own standards and on state board oversight.

There is no FDA-approved injectable NAD+ product marketed in the United States, which is why the preparation here is compounded rather than manufactured.

Compounding is the preparation of a medication tailored to an individual patient by a licensed pharmacist against a prescription. It is lawful and long-established, and it is how patients get products that are not commercially available. It is also less regulated than manufacturing, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

4Testing and quality controls

For each compounded lot, our partner pharmacies perform or commission:

  • Potency and identity testing by an independent, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited analytical laboratory;
  • Sterility testing per USP <71>;
  • Bacterial endotoxin testing per USP <85>;
  • Active pharmaceutical ingredient sourcing from FDA-registered suppliers, with a certificate of analysis on file for each lot of raw material;
  • Environmental monitoring of the sterile compounding area, with personnel media-fill and gloved-fingertip qualification;
  • Beyond-use dating assigned per USP <797> and printed on your label.

You can ask for the certificate of analysis for your lot. Email support@getCoreScripts.com with the lot number from your vial label and we will request it from the pharmacy and send it to you. We consider that your information, not ours.

5What you should check on arrival

  1. The patient name on the label is yours.
  2. The medication and strength match what your clinician told you.
  3. The beyond-use date has not passed.
  4. The solution is clear, with no cloudiness, discoloration, or particles.
  5. The vial and seal are intact, and the package arrived cold.

If anything is wrong, do not use it. Photograph it, keep the vial and packaging, and contact us the same day. See the Shipping Policy for cold-chain handling and the adverse event page for reporting a quality problem.

6Substitution and pharmacy choice

We may route your prescription to a different licensed pharmacy in our network if your state requires it, if there is a supply interruption, or if it materially improves delivery time. Standards are the same across the network.

You are never required to use our pharmacy. You may ask your clinician to send a prescription to a pharmacy of your choosing. Note that if you do, the pharmacy will bill you directly for the medication and the membership price does not change — so for most patients it costs more, not less. Ask us and we will tell you plainly whether it makes sense in your case.
